The seer’s gift
A mysterious figure of immense magical power, neither fully of this world nor the next. She has been expecting you. From the folds of her cloak she produces a glowing rune stone for each of you, carved with a symbol that chose you as much as you chose it. These stones are your key to the nine worlds - and your only protection against what lies ahead.

As your ship glides across the open sea, the water suddenly stills. Then it rises - coils breaking the surface on all sides as Jörmungandr, the World Serpent, emerges. Its ancient eyes fix on your crew, and its voice rumbles up through the hull - will the serpent let you pass?

Ratatoskr is an oversized squirrel with a big mouth and an even bigger problem: his beloved world tree is dying. Now he must guide your unlikely band of heroes to Niflheim to face the serpent and save his tree.

The colossal sea serpent who encircles all of Midgard, biting its own tail to hold the world together. Jörmungandr stirs as Yggdrasil weakens - and if it ever releases its grip, the seas will swallow the land. A terrifying presence whose very breath reshapes the horizon.
